August 2000 marked a special partnership between Computer Associates - Middle East (CA-ME) and Tameema International (IT Division) under which Tameema became the exclusive marketing rep of CA-ME in Saudi Aramco. This agreement joins the extensive experience of Tameema in Saudi Aramco Information Technology Systems and Environment along with CA's industry-strength solutions for the best benefit of Saudi Aramco to get the best value-add of this relationship.

This an ideal model with a special business relation between CA-ME and Tameema as two independent business entities cooperating in a specific territory (Saudi Aramco) and for specific product/service set which is CA products & services. This mandates Tameema to give priority to CA solutions first in Saudi Aramco, and CA commits itself (under this agreement) to treat Saudi Aramco as a separate region in addition to its existing three regions covering North Gulf countries, South Gulf countries, and the rest of Saudi Arabia.
